Having two large breed dogs, a Lab mix and a German Shepherd both under the age of two, made walking our “kids” quite an undertaking. They both would become extremely excited at the site of other dogs, which would lead to excessive barking, leash pulling, and outward aggression. The same would hold true for squirrels, cats, and any other furry creature that would dare be within eye sight. This behavior made it virtually impossible for my wife to be able to walk the dogs, both for her safety and the dogs.

Having read close to a dozen books on dog training, from reward-based corrections, to choke collars, to negative reinforcement, and experimenting for months with each, the same root problems kept coming back. That’s when I found Gretchen, truly “ The Dog Wizard ”. After a very thoughtful review of our situation, and having met our dogs through her consultation, we agreed to using e-collars as our preferred training method. Gretchen spent a lot of time educating us on the product to ensure proper use of the device to achieve maximum results without harming our dogs. With her direction and guidance, the results were immediate after the first session. I am pleased to say, that we have not used a leash with our dogs since our third session with Gretchen. As devoted dog owners, it has changed the way we are able to interact with our dogs. They have received much more freedom, we take them more places, and receive dozen of compliment a week from passersby who admire our well behaved dogs. In turn, our dogs have become more confident, and thus have more fun. Our time with Gretchen has been the best investment we have made for our dogs. We highly recommend her services.
